While at Challenger Geomatics, James Mazak led the 48 lots Single-Family Residential Development within the Community of West Springs, which was approved by Calgary Planning Commission and subsequently approved by Calgary Council. The highlight of this development included gathering community support and acceptance of closing an existing municipal road allowance and commitment of adjacent landowners to create a linear park with mini soccer fields and pathway as the focal point.
Designed, prepared, processed, and coordinated the Outline Plan and accompanying Land Use Redesignation, Road Closure, and Subdivision applications through the planning process. On behalf of the Client, satisfied conditions of subdivision approval and registration of the plan of subdivision at Land Titles.
