While at Statesman Group of Companies, James Mazak led the public consultation engagement process, negotiated with the District of Invermere and developed an approved comprehensive Resort Plan that increased the development from 70 units to 700 units, while identifying and addressing issues with a deficient municipal water system. Mr. Mazak’s knowledge and experience was also very instrumental in proposing a less intrusive and more costs effective road alignment.
Pine Ridge Mountain Resort over Lake Windermere is a 700-unit Master Planned Resort Community located within the District of Invermere. At full build-out the resort will feature 300 single family cottages and view lots, and a mix of 400 multi-family townhomes and villas. The community will be built in accordance with nature by maintaining as much of the native trees and landscape as possible using alpine architecture, an extensive pathway network that is accessible by the public and by implementing xeriscape landscaping, no fencing and mandatory low-flow plumbing technology.
