While at Statesman Group of Companies, James Mazak led this project from Concept to Approval, by strategically navigating through the bureaucracy of 3 levels of government (National, State, and Local) in a highly environmental sensitive part of Puget Sound (Hood Canal).
Pleasant Harbor Marina & Golf Resort was approved and adopted by Jefferson County as a new Master Planned Resort. This new Master Planned Resort is +/- 256 acres in size and includes the Pleasant Harbor and Black Point areas.
The Marina area will be further developed to include additional commercial and residential uses such as townhouses and villas. The Black Point area of the new resort would include new facilities such as a golf course, a restaurant, a resort centre, townhouses, villas, staff housing, and a community centre. The overall residential component proposes to develop approximately ±890 units.
